Funeral services for Max Gary Bunn, age 76, of Wedowee will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Pink Bunn officiating. Burial will follow at Clay County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2015.
Mr. Bunn passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Tupelo Nursing and Rehab in Tupelo, MS.
Survivors include: one daughter, Amanda Bunn of San Jose, CA; two sisters, Barbara Blake of Nettleton, MS, and Carol Bunn of Alabaster; and three brothers, Joel Bunn, Roy Bunn, and Dwight Bunn, all of Wedowee.
Pallbearers will be Mr. Bunn’s nephews.
A Randolph County native, Mr. Bunn was born on September 5, 1938, the son of Theodore and Cludia Sailors Bunn. He was a United States Air Force veteran and was a retired computer programmer for Lockheed. Mr. Bunn was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Betty Frances Bunn; and one brother, Arthur Bunn.
The family is accepting flowers or, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one’s favorite charity or to the American Diabetes Association.
