Obituary of Lola Inez Wright

Graveside services for Lola Inez Wright, age 83, of Wedowee will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Levens Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Terry Graham officiating. Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Mrs. Wright passed away Monday, September 21, 2015, at Williamsburg Manor in Roanoke. Survivors include: one daughter, Julie Ann Joyner (husband, Wayne) of Newnan, GA; one son, Wyatt Wright, III (wife, Misty) of Wedowee; three grandchildren, Christine Elizabeth Sutterfield, Logan Elise Joyner, and Erin Elizabeth Joyner; and three great-grandchildren, Parker Kirkston Sutterfield, Taylor Sutterfield, and Cooper Sutterfield. Pallbearers will be Rocky Cook, Wesley Wortham, Tanner Cross, Wayne Taylor, Chuck Marcum, and Ned Wright. Honorary pallbearer will be Tommy Cofield. A Jefferson County native, Mrs. Wright was born on December 30, 1931, the daughter of George W. and Plumie Wilder Booker. She was a member of Levens Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wyatt Wright, Jr.; two sisters; and six brothers.
