Obituary of Johnny Lynn Morrison

Funeral services for Johnny Lynn Morrison, age 52, of Graham will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ricky Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Morrison’s Crossroads, Alabama. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, April 15, 2016. Mr. Morrison passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Cofield Morrison of Graham; three daughters, Melissa Trammell of Carrolton, Beth Minyard of Thomaston, GA, and Grace Hewitt of McDonough, GA; two sons, Cody Morrison of Graham and Jonathan Morrison of Newell; two stepdaughters, Miranda Lambert and Amanda Harbin, both of Heflin; one stepson, Nicholas Kimbrell of Heflin; 21 grandchildren; his mother, Helen Fowler Morrison of Newell; one sister, Bonnie Minard of Jacksonville, FL; and one brother, Dale Morrison of Newell. A Wedowee native, Mr. Morrison was born on May 30, 1963, the son of Clarence Jewell and Helen Fowler Morrison. He was Baptist by faith and worked as an automobile mechanic. Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by his father.
