Obituary of Randy Gerald Milam

Funeral services for Randy “Milo” Milam, age 51, of Lincoln will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at 4:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Donald Spradlin and Rev. David Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Grove Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Mr. Milam passed away Friday, April 15, 2016, at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Marcella Milam of Lincoln; two daughters, Victoria Boffano and Marina Milam, both of Lincoln; two sons, Ronnie Milam (wife, Kim) of Roanoke and Rodney Milam of Wedowee; four grandchildren; his father, Elvin Milam of Wedowee; four sisters, Vanieca Akins (husband, Dwight), Shirley Gray, Marvolene Milam Holloway, and Sonya Milam Mitchell, all of Wedowee; and two brothers, Tim Milam (wife, Peggy) and Ben Milam (wife, Shelia), both of Wedowee. Pallbearers will be Glenn Akins, Jamie Akins, Jerome Holloway, Jason Holloway, Jeffrey Milam, Josh Milam, Eddie Akins, T.J. Milam, Joseph Mitchell, and Jonathan Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Whaley, Greg Jones, and Michael Looney. A Randolph County native, Mr. Milam was born on September 24, 1964, the son of Elvin and Velma Puckett Milam. He was a member of Mt. Grove Baptist Church, worked as a safety manager for Legacy Cabinets, and was a member of the NRA. Mr. Milam was preceded in death by his mother.
