Obituary of Debbie Farr Meadows

Funeral services for Debbie Farr Meadows, age 52, of Woodland will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Highway Methodist Church with Rev. Wayne Jetton and rev. Jason Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Harmony Congregational Methodist Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Mrs. Meadows will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services beginning on Sunday. Mrs. Meadows passed away Friday, April 22, 2016, at her residence. Survivors include her husband, Pierce Meadows of Woodland; one daughter, Autumn Hill (husband, Wesley) of Woodland; one son, Heath Meadows (wife, Meghan) of Bloomingdale, GA; five grandchildren, Ava Gwen Hill, Emma Lew Hill, Shelby Gaut Hill, Jonah Pierce Meadows, and Edyth Langley Meadows; her parents, Donald and Sandra Farr of Roanoke; three sisters, Donna Welsh of Wadley, Jill Morris of Roanoke and Sherrie Taylor of Roanoke; and one brother, Jamie Farr of Roanoke; Pallbearers will be Britt Morris, Anthony Taylor, Logan Taylor, Jacob Farr, Ricky Farr and Jaime Meadows. Honorary pallbearers will be Evan Manning, Keith Langley, Joe Messer, Gary Spears, Viron Cantrell, Tracy Belyeu, Ron Dewberry and Steve Robertson. A Randolph County native, Mrs. Meadows was born on April 25, 1963, the daughter of Donald M. and Sandra Whatley Farr. She was a member of Highway Methodist Church and worked as a Senior Customer Service Representative for Alabama Power.
