Obituary of Sara Guevara

Funeral services for Sara Guevara, age 72, of Newell will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at 3:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Juan Villanueva officiating.  Burial will follow at Wedowee City Cemetery.

Mrs. Guevara passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.

Survivors include her husband, Gilberto Flores of Newell; six children, Hermilo Flores Guevara, Emma Flores Guevara, Adoniram Flores Guevara, Neptali Flores Guevara, Febe Flores Guevara, Abel Flores Guevara; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ruben Guevara.

A San Luis Potosi, Mexico native, Mrs. Guevara was born on October 29, 1944, the daughter of Marcelino and Eustacia Martinez Guevara.  She was a member of Berea Mission Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  Mrs. Guevara was preceded in death by her parents.
