Obituary of Beth Ann Huckeba

Funeral services for Beth Ann Huckeba, age 49, of Wedowee will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017, at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charlie Whaley and Rev. Joseph Newborne officiating.  Burial will follow at Wedowee City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, June 1, 2017.

Ms. Huckeba passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at her daughter’s residence.

Survivors include: three daughters, Kacy Savona and Stormie Huckeba, both of Wedowee, and Christy Davidson of Anniston; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Pattie McCain of Ranburne, Sandra Williams of Mellow Valley, and Tracy Dewberry; one brother, Billy Huckeba; and her fiancé, Charles Edwin Barker of Wedowee.

Pallbearers will be Charles Barker, Daniel Savona, Caden Green, Davon King, Brandon Wood, Jakob Vowell, Justin Tuck, and Joseph Williams.

A Wedowee native, Ms. Huckeba was born on November 16, 1967, the daughter of Gene and Ethel Huckeba.  She was Christian by faith and worked as a waitress at Eagle’s Café.  Ms. Huckeba was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and two brothers.

Memorials may be floral or, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Benefield Funeral Home for funeral expenses.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.benefieldfhwedowee.com.
