Obituary of Richard Stanley Rampy

Graveside services for Richard Stanley Rampy, age 71, of Woodland will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018, at 10:00 AM at the Rampy Family Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Jones and David Strain officiating.

Mr. Rampy passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018, at his residence.

Survivors include: one daughter, Stephanie Tucker of Port St. Lucie, FL; one son, Shane Richard Rampy of Ft. Pierce, FL; two grandchildren, Char Rampy and Cheyenne Bryant; and three sisters, Emily Wynette Fink of Georgetown, DE, Peggy Annette Durrell of Woodland, GA, and JoAnn Bliss of Helena.

Pallbearers will be Shane Rampy, Ronnie Bliss, David Durrell, Darrell McManus, Ricky Striblin, and Wade Willingham.

A Woodland native, Mr. Rampy was born on October 16, 1946, the son of Virgil Stanley and Emily Geraldine Wilson Rampy.  He was Baptist by faith and worked for Strain Construction.  Mr. Rampy was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charles Douglas Rampy.
