Obituary of Mary Frances Willingham White

Funeral services for Mary Frances Willingham White, age 90, of Wedowee will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Wedowee with Rev. Cade Farris and Rev. David Little officiating.  Burial will follow at Wedowee City Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00-2:00 PM on Friday, April 20 before services begin.

Mrs. White passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Lineville Health and Rehab.

Survivors include: one daughter, Susan Baldwin (husband, Mac) of Wedowee; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Eloree Moses of Wedowee.

Pallbearers will be Vernon Lipham, Frank Hester, Jerry Pollard, Bill White, Bill Galpin, and Tommy Bishop.

A Roanoke native, Mrs. White was born on May 12, 1927, the daughter of Travis Monroe and Istarlena Knight Willingham.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wedowee and worked as a seamstress for Palm Beach.  Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Coleman White; one sister; and two brothers.
