Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Irma Lee Holliday, age 86, of Wedowee will be held Tuesday February 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM from Midway United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Holliday passed away Sunday February 14, 2010 at Wedowee Hospital.
Pallbearers will be J. L. Strickland, Rob Seay, Bobby Hodges, Donnie Hobby, Gary Dommissee, Larry Tyson, Steve Strickland, and David Kerlin.
Mrs. Holliday is survived by her husband, Horace W. Holliday of Wedowee, two sons, Sandy Holliday of Roanoke and Phil Holliday of Wedowee, two grandchildren, Sean and Shay Holliday.
Mrs. Holliday was born May 26, 1923 the daughter of John Luther and Emma Dollar Perry, she was retired from First National Bank in Alex City as a teller, and a member of First United Methodist Church of Wedowee. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a grandson William Holliday.
The family will receive friends on Monday February 15, 2010 from 6 till 8 PM at Benefield Funeral Home in Wedowee. Mrs. Holliday will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
