Obituary of Evelyn Charlene Cameron
Evelyn Charlene Cameron, age 72 of Wedowee, Alabama, returned to her heavenly home on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her throughout her life and ultimately gave her peace.
Charlene was survived by her husband, Sonny Cameron of Wedowee, AL and her son, Danny Black of Pensacola, FL. Additional surviving family members include her sister, Becky Cyr of Jonesboro, Tennessee, and Becky’s husband, Jimmy and their two children, Lucas and Lisa-Marie. Additional survivors include her aunt, Rebecca Pressley of Moultrie, GA; her nephew, Randall Evers of Fayetteville, GA, nieces, Misty Rutcosky of Fayetteville, GA and Tanya Arrington of Hampton, GA. A native of Georgia, she was preceded in death by her parents, Randall and Evelyn Evers, and her brother, Randall Evers of Wedowee, AL.
Charlene loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart, and she loved God’s Word. Though she was a humble, gentle woman, Charlene was nonetheless a powerful prayer warrior, and only heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithful praying have had on her family, her friends, and the world at large. Mrs. Cameron was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church in Boston, GA.
