Funeral services for Garvis Clarence Lipham, age 80, of Wedowee will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Josh Kennedy and Rev. David Holcombe officiating.  Burial will follow at Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-1:00 PM on Friday before services begin.

Mr. Lipham passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at his residence.

Survivors include: two sisters, Kathryn Holloway (Jack) of Wedowee and Mary Florence Pitts (Harold) of Piedmont; and two brothers, Quinton Bolt and Tony Bolt, both of Wedowee.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Holloway, Levi Holloway, Jackson Holloway, Kevin Holloway, Brian Holloway, and Harold Pitts.

A Wedowee native, Mr. Lipham was born on December 1, 1942, the son of Olin and Morine Lindley Bolt. He was Christian by faith.  Mr. Lipham was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ted Lipham.
