Funeral services for Barbara “Bobby” E. Shaw, age 85, of Woodland will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Chad Murphy and Bro. Alan Daniel officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, March 6.

Mrs. Shaw passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at her residence.

Survivors include two daughters, Wendy Stewart and Mindy Shaw, both of Woodland, Ala.; two grandsons, Jeremy Stewart and Jacob (Misty) Stewart, both of Woodland, Ala.; nieces and nephews, Judy Sears (Eddie) of Woodland, Todd Dunlap (Tim) of Oxford, Ann Prioiety (Bernie) of Oxford, Robert Eason Jr. (Sonja) of Wedowee, Robbie Benefield of Roanoke, Peggy Nelson of Pinson, Ala., and Jimmy Eason of Heflin; and cousins, Paulette and Elbert Pittman

Pallbearers will be Todd Dunlap, David Sears, Michael Sears, Elbert Pittman, Heath Huey, Tony Moore, Nathan Dhont, and Shane Cosper.

A Woodland native, Mrs. Shaw was born on December 14, 1937, the daughter of Marion and Cassie Traylor Eason.  She was a seamstress at BBIC and enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Harlon Shaw; son-in-law, James Stewart; sisters, Alice Cosper, Myrtis Dunlap, and Ola Mae Eason; and brothers, Robert Eason, J.L. Eason, Charlie Eason, and Griffin Eason.
