Funeral services for Helen Marsh, age 66, of Wedowee will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joyce White officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, September 29, 2023.  

Mrs. Marsh passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Lineville Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Survivors include: three daughters, Nicki Nunn (Kevin), Joyce Terrell, and Janice Marsh (Derrick Sims), all of Wedowee; one son, Kenny Terrell of Wedowee; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; one sister, Joan Andrews of Wedowee; and two brothers, James Terrell of Bowdon, GA, and Scotty Andrews of Wedowee.

A Wedowee native, Mrs. Marsh was born on February 27, 1957, the daughter of James G. Terrell and Ruby L. Parker.  She was a member of Union Chapel Methodist Church and was a housewife.  Mrs. Marsh was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Marsh; one daughter, Teresa Terrell; one sister, Vicki Andrews; and two brothers, Michael Terrell and Gene Andrews.
