Memorial services for Edward Eugene Rainwater, Jr., age 61, of Woodland will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Rainwater passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at his residence.

Survivors include: two sons, Keith Rainwater (Deidre) of Oxford and Bradley Rainwater (Brieanna) of Trussville; one daughter, Jennifer Harris (Brian) of Carrollton, GA; three grandchildren, Emmalyn Johns, Kaelyn Rainwater, and unborn grandson, Braxton Rainwater; his mother, Melba Jean Forsyth Camp of Woodland; one sister, Karen Prince (Kenny) of Woodland; two brothers, Steve Rainwater (Priscilla) of Smyrna, GA, and David Rainwater (Rebecca) of Woodland; and the mother of his children, Remie Rainwater of Graham.

A Fulton County, Georgia native, Mr. Rainwater was born on June 19, 1962, the son of Edward Eugene Rainwater, Sr., and Melba Jean Forsyth Camp.  He was Baptist by faith and was a self-employed auto body repairman/painter.  Mr. Rainwater was preceded in death by his father, Gene Rainwater and his stepfather, Wayne Camp.
