Funeral services for James Bonnie Wright, age 77, of Woodland will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 11:00 am (CST) at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Cleve Moore officiating.  Burial will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00-4:00 PM (CST) on Sunday, February 2, 2025.

Mr. Wright passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.

Survivors include: three sisters, Annette Wright of Woodland, Linda McKee of Rock Mills and Eris King of Woodland and two brothers, Danny Taylor of Woodland and Jerry Taylor of Heflin.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Wright was born on November 1, 1947, the son of Era Mildred Wright.  He was Baptist by faith and retired from the trucking industry where he worked for Baldwin Transport and Williams Transport. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bobby Ray Taylor and Clinton Ray Taylor and one sister, Peggy Harmon.
