Obituary of Kenny Arrington

Funeral services for Kenny T. Arrington, 66, of Woodland will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jerry Long officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Mr. Arrington passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Tanner-East Alabama Medical Center.

Survivors include: two daughters, Ashley Skinner (Cody) of Ranburne and Ansley Arrington of Woodland; two grandchildren, Cohen Skinner and Callan Skinner; one sister, Shannon Long (Jerry) of Batesville, MS; and one brother, Scotty Arrington (Christa) of Woodland; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be members of the Truett Hunting Club, where Kenny enjoyed cooking meals as much as he did hunting.

A Woodland native, Mr. Arrington was born on January 31, 1959, the son of Theron and Alva Jean Bailey Arrington.  He was Christian by faith and worked as a machinist for Southwire for 45 years.  Mr. Arrington was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Rusty Arrington, Timmy Arrington, and Davey Arrington.
