Obituary of Gloria Jean Rampy Gregg

Funeral services for Gloria Jean Rampy Gregg, age 75, of Woodland will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Terry Graham officiating.  Burial will follow at Levens Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Monday before services begin.

Mrs. Gregg passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at her residence.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Dale Gregg of Woodland; one daughter, Stephanie Edwards (Mark) of Woodland; two sons, Steven Gregg (Lauren) of Woodland and Chris Brown (Lisa) of Graham; four grandchildren, Hayden Edwards (Jaycie), Brock Edwards, Sophie Edwards, and Rob Brown (Camry); two great-grandchildren, Haisley Edwards and Laramie Brown; and one sister, Susan R. Hyde of Woodland.

Pallbearers will be Hayden Edwards, Brock Edwards, C. J. Burke, Shane Hyde, Cody Wiggins, and Justin Loveless.

A Carroll County native, Mrs. Gregg was born on October 23, 1949, the daughter of Robert Lee and Dorothy Smith Rampy.  She was Baptist by faith and was a loyal board member of the Southern Ambulance Transport family.  She cherished her family and work and loved helping people.  Mrs. Gregg was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Joann Wiggins; and one brother, Gilbert N. Rampy.
