Funeral services for Donald Ray Hill, age 69, of Lineville, AL, will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Keith Jeffers and Tommy Hill officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethel West Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

Mr. Hill passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at his home.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Billie Rose Hill; three daughters, Crystal Hill of Missouri, Shasta Hill of Florida, and Alexia Biaz of New Jersey; three sons, Josh Hill and Daniel Hill, both of Florida, and Ray Joseph Ferraccio (Partner Krystal Nimon) of Lineville; several shared grandchildren; Harley Johnson, Lily Johnson, Kendal May, Tucker May and, Delaney Rosalyn Biaz; Two sisters, Modenia May (Rex) of Wedowee and Sheryl Brown of South Carolina; Two brothers, Eddie Gay Hill (Dotty) of Hollis Crossroads and Larry Joe Hill (Partner, Amy) of Des Moines, IA; nieces and nephews, Dwayne Hill, Patricia Johnson, Ed Hill, Chip May, Matthew Hill, Tony Hill, Jessica Hill, Elizabeth Clark, Becky Stewart, Joey Hill, Justin Hill, Beth Hill, and Robin Hill, Jacquelyn Blow, Kathleen Blow, Charlie Blow, and Roy Stevenson; aunts, Shirley Edwards and Sarah Hill; and a host of many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Ray Ferraccio, Harley Johnson, Ed Hill, Matthew Hill, Roy Stevenson, and Linwood Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Chip May, Rex May, Larry Joe Hill and Eddie Gay Hill.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Hill was born on March 27, 1956, the son of David Matthew and Mary Lucille Clemones Hill.  He attended Midway Community Church and worked as a truck driver for Freddy Payne Trucking.  Mr. Hill loved fishing, working with anything mechanical, and he loved westerns.  He also loved gardening.  If it’s a seed, he would plant it.  Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Willis Hill; sister, Jennifer Hill; grandparents; uncles; and aunts.
