Asher Landon Thompson, newborn, of Wedowee, was born on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, in Houston, Texas.

A visitation will be held at Benefield Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, June 30, 2025.

Asher is survived by his parents, Kyle Thompson and Ansley Pike; paternal grandparents, Joel and Karen McMath; maternal grandparents, Robbie and Stacy Taylor and Eric Pike; ten aunts and uncles; and a Godparent, Robyn Bailey.  He was preceded in death by paternal grandparent, Paul Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.
