This comes late but I just learned Chris has passed away. We worked together at a kitchen cabinet maker in Ashland, and Chris was a great man, a fantastic supervisor, and most importantly, a good human being with his heart in the right place. His glass of water was always half full never half empty, and I will absolutely miss his big smile! May Chris rest in peace, and my deepest condolences to Nikki and her family.

I'm 73 y.o. I was stranded on Hwy.9 with a flat tire. Chris came along and stopped. My spare was dry-rotted. He went to Lineville, bought me a tire and put it on my car. He wouldn't let me pay him. He said; "God has been good to me. Pass it on." He was a wonderful man that I'll never forget. God bless his family.

My deepest sympathies for your loss. I served with Chief Gay in Iraq in 2008/09. I thought very highly of Chris as a both SeaBee and a human being. It was a pleasure to serve with him and I'm glad that he was briefly part of my life. My condolences.

Chris and I deployed to Iraq back in 2008. We were able to share many stories about our Families. After the deployment, we went home to our Families and only communicated by way of FB. He certainly was, without a doubt, a True Christian Man and Family Man. My sincere condolences to his Family. Our thoughts and Prayers are with you All at this time. God Bless.

Chris was a beloved friend. His family is dear to us and we grieve today but also rejoice because of the heavenly reward that he received. Chris and I worked together on a few projects. He was as consistent as the sun. I loved the spirit he carried himself with. He was considerate, kind, welcoming, and warm, and would stop to ask about me regardless of how busy he was. Chris will be missed here on earth, and we look forward to our heavenly homecoming when we get to see him again.

I had the privilege of meeting Chris through a construction project. He cared deeply about his work and it showed in how meticulous he was in the details. He treated everyone on the job site with respect, regardless of their status. When Chris talked about his family, children and grandkids, his eyes brightened with a smile. It was very evident they were cherished and deeply loved by him. He was a genuine man and will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for Chris’s family.

Mr. Chris treated me like one of his own growing up. Every Sunday, he and Mrs. Nikki would pick me up for church. He was such a jokester, always ready with a prank or a laugh. And of course, we all knew when he pushed it a little too far— the moment Mrs. Nikki said, “Christopher Don!”
He was the biggest family man I’ve ever known — loving, loyal, and full of heart. He made a lasting impact on everyone around him, and he will be deeply missed.
My heart is with Linny and the entire family. I love y’all so much.
