Mona Green Sailors Obituary

Funeral services for Mona Green Sailors, age 84, of Woodland will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Daniel and Will Bullen officiating.  Burial will follow at Big Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM on Friday before services begin.


Mrs. Sailors passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at her residence.


Survivors include her husband, Sherman Sailors of Woodland; one daughter, Missy Bullen (Jeff) of Alpine, AL; one son, Bobby Barnett of Austin, TX; two grandchildren, Will Bullen (Camille) of Millerville, AL, and John Bullen (Amanda) of Alabaster, AL; two great-grandchildren, Beau & Cille Bullen; one sister, Celia Gardner; and two brothers, John Toland, Jr., and Dick Toland.


A Millerville, Alabama native, Mrs. Sailors was born on March 23, 1941, the daughter of J. B. and Lockie Dick Toland.  She was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church and was retired from the Probate Judge’s office and Roanoke Stockyards. Mrs. Sailors was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jack Green.


Memorials may be floral.
