Funeral services for Pamela Rice Sheats, 64, of Newell, will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 3:00 CST PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Greg Norred and Joyce Cushing officiating.  Burial will follow at Liberty Grove Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-3:00 CST PM on Saturday, September 20 before services begin.

Mrs. Sheats passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at City of Hope Cancer Center in Newnan, Georgia.

Survivors include: two daughters, Ashley White (Shane) of Woodland and Andrea Biggers (Jeremy) of Fruithurst; seven grandchildren, Jason, Kami, River, Caulder, Wade, Bentley, and Lake; and two sisters, Kim Monroe of Macon, GA, and Jeanette Richardson of LaGrange, GA.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Sheats’ grandsons and nephews.

Mrs. Sheats was born on May 4, 1961, the daughter of Amos and Pearl Rice; Patricia Gardner Rice.  She was a 1979 Cleburne County High School Graduate and was a homemaker.  Mrs. Sheats was Christian by faith.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Joil Sheats; and a brother, Jimmy Smith.
