On September 9, 2025, the world lost Sutton Thomas Phillips, who tragically passed away at the age of 23. 

Born on December 12, 2001 in Anniston, Alabama, Sutton lived a life full of kindness, loyalty, quick humor, and belonging. He was known for his radiant smile, his compassion for others, and his adventurous spirit. 

Sutton built a legacy through his ability to see those who were overlooked. He found joy in serving others, the Arts, nature, books, and writing. Above all he cherished family shenanigans. 

He leaves behind His Mom and Dad, Robby and Donna Phillips, his brother and sister, Josh and Spenser Davis, his niece Nora and his nephews Truman and Watson Davis, his grandparents Barbara and James Kendrick and Liz Phillips, Tyler Spears, and countless family and friends who loved him. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM at 4515 Old Highway 431, Newell, AL 36280.
