Funeral services for Lynn Lovvorn Smith, age 68, of Woodland will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 12:00 noon at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Dempsey officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

Mrs. Smith passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at her residence.

Survivors include: one daughter, Allison Heard (James) of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Taylor McCain (Hunter) and Kenslee Herren; four great-grandchildren, Grayson, Meredith, Kaydence, and Lilliana; and two sisters, Susan Lovvorn Davis (Jody) of Auburn and Pamela Sasakado (Toshi) of Santa Clara, CA.

A Bowdon native, Mrs. Smith was born on February 22, 1957, the daughter of Wiley E. and Carrie Imodean Cofield Lovvorn.  She was a member of Union Baptist Church and worked as a registered nurse.  Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald Smith; one brother, Ronald Lovvorn; and one sister, Jan McCain.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Benefield Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
