A Celebration of Life for Ola Mae Brown, age 85, of Woodland, will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 1:00-3:00 PM CST at The Venue at 9 AL Avenue East, Lafayette, AL 36862.

Mrs. Brown passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Fellowship Assisted Living in LaGrange, GA.

Survivors include: one son, Sidney Brown; two daughters, Toni Chambers (David) and Dori Harmon (Ashley); five grandchildren, Erica (Doc), Will, Tyler, Tori, and Maci (Connor); and two great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Giaxon.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Brown was born on May 6, 1940, the daughter of Glover and Nettie Barton.  She was Methodist by faith and was a fine Christian woman.  Mrs. Brown was a breast cancer survivor and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Brown; a grandson, Hayden Burns; and daughter-in-law, Charlene Brown.

At the memorial service, flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to one’s favorite charity.
