Funeral services for Arterius Latese Goodwin, age 36, of Wedowee will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 11 AM at Benefield Funeral Chapel.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 on Tuesday before services begin.

Miss Goodwin passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in Wedowee.

Survivors include her parents, Fred Goodwin of Wedowee and Mary Goodwin of Heflin; maternal grandparents, Annie and Willie Cooley of Heflin; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Born in Calhoun County on February 17, 1989, Miss Goodwin is the daughter of Fred Goodwin, Jr., and Mary J. Nunn Goodwin.  She was Baptist by faith and worked as a cashier at Jacks.  Miss Goodwin was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Louise and Willis Goodwin, Jr., and a brother, Fredrick LaBreece Goodwin.
