Damon Kabetzke, age 47, of Wedowee passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Birmingham, Alabama.

Survivors include his wife, Tunya Abrams Kabetzke of Wedowee; two daughters, Caitlin Kabetzke Acuff (Michael) and Cassidy Kabetzke, both of Wedowee; his mother, Patricia Gill; and his faithful companion, Rocco.

A Mississippi native, Mr. Kabetzke was born on June 8, 1978, the son of Alvin Kabetzke and Patricia Jury Kabetzke.  He was Christian by faith and was a truck driver.  Mr. Kabetzke was a devoted husband and father.  He enjoyed fishing, grilling, and spending time with his family.  Mr. Kabetzke was preceded in death by his father.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 5:00-8:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Home.
