Funeral services for William Francis “W. F.” Stillwell, age 94, of Graham will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Daniel officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Hill Christian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM on Wednesday before services begin.

Mr. Stillwell passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine Iverson Stillwell of Graham; three children, Kim Benefield of Woodland, Randall Stillwell (Deborah) of Perry, GA, and Stephanie Crawley of Graham; grandchildren, Kelly Vandagriff, Alissa Stillwell, Lamar Allen, and Lacey Wallace; and eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jane Yates of Wedowee.

Pallbearers will be Matt Smith, Marc Smith, Brad Kohler, Scott Stillwell, Stacey Stillwell, and Brock Vandagriff.  Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Akins and Terrell Connor.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Stillwell was born on September 2, 1931, the son of Robert Wesley and Edna Landers Stillwell.  He was a United States Marine Corps veteran and was a member of Pine Hill Christian Church.  Mr. Stillwell was a retired teacher and principal and a poultry and cattle farmer.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Dennis Benefield; and siblings, Sarah Morrison, Mary Boatner, Louise Hall Smith, O’neal Stillwell, and John Stillwell.
