Funeral services for Carol Ann Brown, age 72, of Woodland will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jason Messer officiating.  Burial will follow in Whitesburg, Georgia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 PM on Sunday before services begin.

Carol passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at her home.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Brown of Woodland; step-daughter, Wendy Brown; five grandchildren, Dustin Huff (Jessie), Andrew Huff, Kagan Kovar, Kourtney Kovar, and Colin Davis; two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Mollie Huff; one sister, Gloria Jean Druce of Jackson, GA; two sisters-in-law, Patsy Gillespie and Judy Miller (Keith); one brother-in-law, Steve Brown (Aubrey); and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Harris County, Georgia native, Carol was born on February 18, 1953. She was a member of Levens Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  Carol was a person of certainty. She was strong but yet sweet. She held firm in her beliefs and loved the Lord unconditionally. Carol’s favorite thing to do was being a grandmother. Besides her husband, her grandchildren were the light of her life. No matter who you were, Carol would always be a listening ear, offer advice, be a shoulder to cry on, and would just be a comforting presence. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
