Memorial services for Connie Sue Huey, age 74, of Woodland will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Daniel and Bro. Jonathan Hannah officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00-7:00 PM on Sunday, January 11, 2026.

Mrs. Huey passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at her residence.

Survivors include: one daughter, Amy Calhoun (Marsha Mammenga) of Woodland; one son, Ryan Calhoun (Mandi) of Woodland; two grandchildren, Taylor Calhoun and Amelia Calhoun; two sisters, Janet McManus (Kenneth) of Woodland and Sharon Smith (Ronnie) of Roanoke; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Huey was born on March 14, 1951, the daughter of Fred Davis Huey and Doris Lee Perry Huey.  She was a member of Iduma Congregational Methodist Church and worked as a lunchroom manager for the Randolph County Board of Education.  Mrs. Huey was known as Nana Connie to many kids in the surrounding community.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles Huey and Tony Huey.
