Funeral services for Dustin Clint “Duck” Taylor, age 49, of Newell will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Randall Skinner officiating.  Burial will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 PM on Wednesday before services begin.

Mr. Taylor passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.

Survivors include his wife, Wendy Taylor of Newell; daughter, Mikayla Wilkinson (Austin) of Bluff Springs; son, Jordan O’Neal of Newell; two grandchildren, Cambri and Colson and one on the way; two sisters, Jan Howard of Temple, GA, and Carla Boyd (Randall) of Newell; and two brothers, Willie Charles Taylor and Kenneth Taylor, both of Newell.

Pallbearers will be Randy Camp, Mark Lovvorn, Danny Bailey, Quinton Blanks, Dakota Taylor, and Taylor Boyd.  Honorary pallbearers will be Randall Boyd, Austin Wilkinson, Jordan O’Neal, and Colson Wilkinson.

A Newell native, Mr. Taylor was born on December 24, 1976, the son of Willie Boyd and Mary Joyce Stillwell Taylor.  He was Christian by faith and worked as a carpenter.  Mr. Taylor enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking for his friends and family  in his free time.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Andrew Taylor; and two brothers, Morris Taylor and Danny Taylor.
