A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mr. Cantrell was born on October 19, 1961, the son of William and Lois Mitchell Cantrell. He was Christian by faith and spent his working career as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for the Scott Bridge Company and he also worked as a route salesman for the Coca-Cola Corp. In his retirement, Danny enjoyed his passion for planting flowers of various kinds, but his passion was the upkeep and care of his blueberry bushes. He also enjoyed working on farm equipment, especially his tractors. While these were his passions, he loved his family and the many get-togethers with them over the years and was notorious for always ending his conversations with “I love you the most!” Mr. Cantrell was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jimmy Wayne Cantrell.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Compassus Hospice for the compassionate care shown to them.
