Funeral services for Jackie Lee Rollins, age 87, of Roanoke will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Rocky Branch Baptist Church with Bro. Matt Browning, Bro. David Daniel, and Bro. Ronnie Burson officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, January 26, 2026.  Mr. Rollins will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services beginning on Tuesday.

Mr. Rollins passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Shelba Maddox Rollins of Roanoke; one daughter, Brenda Belyeu (Tracy) of Roanoke; one son, Wayne Rollins (Mandy) of Woodland; three grandchildren, Jordan Long (Dustin), Eli Rollins, and Kaylee Rollins; one great-grandchild, Sadie Kate Long; and one son-in-law, Toby Clark of Roanoke.

Pallbearers will be Eli Rollins, Shane Cross, Brian Cross, David Sears, Scott Rollins, and Joey Highnote.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Cross, Arnold Rollins, and Russell Rollins.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Rollins was born on March 19, 1938, the son of Issac and Jewell Huey Rollins.  He was long-serving faithful deacon at Rocky Branch Baptist Church and worked as a shipping clerk at Southwire.  Mr. Rollins was also a farmer and enjoyed raising cattle.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Helen Clark; and two sisters, Frances Huddleston and Laura Helen Rollins.
