Graveside services for Rodney Sanders, age 73, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Potash Cemetery with Bro. Wilburn McCullough and Bro. Glenn Prince officiating and Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, February 13, 2026.

Mr. Sanders passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at his residence.

Survivors include two brothers, Richard Sanders and John Todd Sanders and a niece, Cassie Mae Sanders.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Sanders was born on October 8, 1952, the son of Anthony F. Sanders, Jr., and Bonnie Lee Bowen Sanders.  He was Church of Christ by faith and worked as a mechanic at Southwire.  Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Rene Sanders and Donald Ray Sanders; and a nephew, Anthony Clyde Sanders.
