Clifton Wayne Smith, Sr., age 49, of Wedowee, passed away on February 13, 2026, at

Tanner East Alabama in Wedowee.

Survivors include: four sons, Clifton Smith, Jr., Shawn Kenneth Smith, Alexander James

Scott Smith, and Jesse James Delaware Smith; mother, Flora Ruth Smith; nine

grandchildren, Anthony Wayne Smith, Kimberly Neaveh Smith, Eliza Paige Smith,

Rynlee Kate Smith, Dakota Raven Jams Smith, Ashton River Lee Smith, Avery Smith,

Haven Smith, and Adeline Smith; two sisters, Kimberly Smith and Amanda Pruett; one

brother, Lee Pruett.

Mr. Smith was born on March 1, 1976, the son of Joel Lee Smith, Sr. and Flora Ruth

Smith. He had been employed as a pipe fitter for Automatic Fire Systems and was

Baptist by faith.
