Visitation for Barry Edwards, age 73, of Woodland, will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 5:00-8:00 pm at Benefield Funeral Home.

Mr. Edwards passed away on March 7, 2026, at his home after a long illness.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 49 years, Sandra Ann Edwards; two sons, Jeremie Edwards (Amy) and Jason Edwards, both of Woodland; one daughter, Jennifer Adamson (Chase) of Rock Mills; granddaughters, Kenslie, Katie, and Kelsea Edwards of Woodland, Chasiti Ray (Trent), Abbi Pike (Evan), Myleigh-Anna Adamson; grandsons, Michael Burkett and Quade Smith; great-grandson, Cooper Ray; great-granddaughter, Lila Pike; one sister, Robbye Blanks (Billie Joe) of McDonough, GA; niece, Cindy Vickers (David); great-nieces, Ashleigh and Alexa Vickers; one nephew, Dan Warren; one great-nephew, Dalton Dunlap.

Mr. Edwards was born on February 18, 1953, the son of Robert and Bermadean Strain Edwards.  He was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Woodland.  Mr. Edwards was a carpenter by trade and loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Felice Ann Smith; one sister, Peggy Warren; infant sister, Shelby Edwards; one nephew, Johnny Warren; one niece, Kim Dunlap (Todd).
