Graveside funeral services for Rinice H. Tanksley, age 79, of Woodland will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Ed Halsey officiating and Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Tanksley passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.

Survivors include: daughter, Rose Tanksley Sharpburg; two grandchildren, Adrienne Gonzalez and Maxwell Phillips; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, LC Henderson and Jimmy Henderson.

A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mrs. Tanksley was born on June 22, 1946, the daughter of Monroe and Fanny Lou Brown Henderson. She was Christian by faith and was a member at Providence Baptist Church. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Tanksley worked as a seamstress at Bremen Bowdon Investment Co.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Tanksley; sister, Brinice Holloway; and three brothers, Willie, Loice, and Bobby Henderson.
