Deborah Wirts Morris, born February 9, 1955, in Indiana, passed away on March 22, 2026.  She lived her life with strength, compassion, and a generous spirit that touched everyone around her. 

Deborah was known for her cooking, her giving heart, her deep love for her family, and a kindness that overflowed into every part of her life.  She enjoyed Auburn, decorating, and collecting. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, care, and love.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Morris; her son, Christopher Morris and his spouse, Megan; her daughter, Debbie Salyer and her spouse, Shannon; her four grandchildren, Logan, Madeline, Evan and Cameron; and her sisters, Carlita Edwards and Alisa Howard.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Libby Wirts; her father, Norman Wirts; and her brother, Howard Wirts.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Wedowee Fire Department on May 16th from 10:00AM until 12:00PM.
