Dear Family of Sydney Lanier,
On behalf of First Presbyterian Church of Warner Robins, Georgia, please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Sydney Lanier.
Your father was a beloved member of First Presbyterian Church from 1976–1993. During his years here, he faithfully served the Lord and this congregation, including his ministry as a youth leader and his service as an Elder. He and your mother were deeply loved members of this church family, and their faith, kindness, and commitment left a lasting, Bible-rich legacy in the lives of many young people and in the history of First Presbyterian Church.
We are grateful to God for the years your father and your mother were part of our church family, and for the many ways their lives reflected the love and grace of Christ. Their legacy continues to be remembered with gratitude and affection.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may He comfort you with His peace in the days, weeks, and months ahead.
With sympathy and prayers,
Sarah Greenwood Broussard, CRE
First Presbyterian Church

I remember your dad from Warner Robins, where he and your mom served as youth leaders at our church. They both were important influences in my life and learning about the Bible. My deepest condolences.

We were so very saddened to hear of his passing. He was such a fine man...full of compassion and love and what a wit he had. We will miss him so much.

Sidney was a dear and special to me and my husband. We, as fellow Kiwanians, will miss him sitting at our meetings and giving the most encouraging words and advice. He was loved by so many friends. We will miss Sidney but he will be with us in spirit and forever in our hearts. May God bless his family, whom he loved so much!
