Funeral services for Charles T. Clark, Sr., age 93, of Newell will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mike Nobbley officiating.  Burial will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Mr. Clark passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026, at his residence.

Survivors include his wife of 74 years, Nancy Joeann Langford of Newell; one daughter, Donna Crisp of Marietta, GA; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

Born on September 18, 1932, Mr. Clark is the son of Charlie Newton and Vera Lee Taylor Clark.  He was Baptist by faith and worked as a truck driver for Yellow Freight.  Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Darrell Clark and Charles Clark, Jr.; five brothers; and one sister.
