Dorothy Jean Wiggins age 95, of Graham Alabama, passed away on June 21, 2026, at her daughter’s residence.

Born on February 26,1931 in Ranburne, Alabama. Dorothy Jean was the daughter of the late Silas and Emma Jane Pollard Otwell. She worked tirelessly as a seamstress at Lamar Manufacturing Plant in Bowdon Ga for 30 years.

Dorothy Jean was a faithful Christian and loved the Lord. She was a member of Bethlehem Campground Church of Graham, Alabama. She leaves behind many loving memories with her family.

She is survived by her loving daughter Sue Lovvorn, and son Kenneth Wiggins; one sister, Mary Warren; 5 grandchildren, Stacy (Greta) Lovvorn, Shane Lovvorn, Suzanne (Robert) Rehberg, Shannon (Scott) Cobb and Kellie (Timothy) Pope; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband, Charles Emery Wiggins; sons, David and Dennis Wiggins; her sisters, Hazel Whitman, Lemma Gibbs and Nell Snow; and brothers Ray and Noel Otwell.

Funeral will take place at Bethlehem Campground Methodist Church. Family will receive friends at the church from 12-1 EST with services at 1pm EST. with Rev Jerry Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in Wedowee in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to Benefield Funeral Home to go towards final expenses.

Pallbearers will be Stacy Lovvorn, Shane Lovvorn, Austin Lovvorn, Robert Rehberg, Stephanie Swafford, and Karon Turner.
