Obituary Notice

Funeral services for Dollie Neal Williams age 87 of Newell will be held Thursday September 2, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in the Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams passed away Wednesday September 1, 2010 at Cleburne County Nursing Home.

Mrs. Williams is survived by two daughters, Vicky Yarbrough and Tina Williams both of Newell, three sons Junior Williams of Ranburne, Terry Williams of Wedowee and Aubrey Williams of Heflin, two sisters Shirley Williams of Rome, Ga., and Charlene Payne of Heflin, five grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

Mrs. Williams was born June 24, 1923 the daughter of Clint and Perlona Duffey Neal, she was a housewife and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, a husband Handley Williams, a grandchild Brian Williams, a brother Artis Neal and a sister Brooksie Hodges.

The family will receive friends Wednesday September 1, 2010 at Benefield Funeral Home in Wedowee from 6 till 8 PM.
