Memorial services for Cecil Henry Edmondson, age 74, of Wedowee will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at 11:00 AM from Auslin Chapel with Rev. Gary Henderson officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 24, 2015.
Mr. Edmondson passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Edmondson of Wedowee; two daughters, Janice Tonger of Orlando, FL, and Kathleen Edmondson of Orlando, FL; two grandchildren, Cameron E. Lee and Courtney Lee; five sisters, Jean Mitchell, Marie Cline, Sarah Wilson, Elaine Blake (husband, Norm), and Mary Nicholls (husband, James), all of Wedowee; and one brother, Rayford Edmondson of Wedowee.
A Wedowee native, Mr. Edmondson was born on May 4, 1941, the son of Whit and Etta Formby Edmondson. He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired master salesman for Don Reid Ford. Mr. Edmondson was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Joyce Ebert; and one brother, Richardson Edmondson.
