Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Bobby F. Baker age 74 of Wedowee will be held Monday January 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charles Smith, Rev. Ronnie Cook and Rev. Corky Addison officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Baker passed away Saturday January 5, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Baker is survived by his wife Betty Baker of Wedowee; two daughters Tammy
(Greg) White of Roanoke, Renee Hancock of Brownsville, Tx; one son Danny (Debbie) Baker of Roanoke; one step-daughter Tonya ( Ronnie) Cook of Centre; three step-sons Lamar (Stephanie) Weaver of Carrollton, Ga., Jimmy Weaver of Roanoke and Dewayne Weaver of Wedowee; one sister Ruthie Sons of Tallahoma, Tn; thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Hollis, Greg White, Cainan Cook, Dewayne Weaver, Brandon Vanderbush, John Holley and Jeremy Kilgore.
Mr. Baker was born December 24, 1939 the son of George and Florence Russett Baker. He was retired as owner of Baker Construction Company and of the Holiness faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Georgia Wilson, five brothers Billy, Willard, James, Al and Pete Baker.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Sunday January 6, 2013 from 4 till 8 PM.
