Obituary of Judy Kay Shouse

Obituary Notice Funeral services for Judy Kay Shouse, age 65, of Wedowee, will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday January 9, 2013, from Morrison's Chapel with Rev. Bill Henderson officiating. Mrs. Shouse will have a closed casket visitation one hour before the service at the church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Rocky Giffone, Justin, Jason and Josh McCord, Tommy Holdridge, Mark Bell. Honorary pallbearer will be Don Strain. Mrs. Shouse died Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Wedowee Hospital. Mrs. Shouse is survived by one daughter, Michelle & husband Darrel Leblanc of Wedowee; one son, Jeremy Cooke of New Mexico; mother, Sarah G. McCord; two grandchildren, Alexis and Tyler; one sister, Jackie McCord Giffone of Wedowee; one brother, Steve Ray McCord of Carrollton, GA. Mrs. Shouse was born June 18, 1947, the daughter of William E. and Sarah G. Strain McCord. She had been a bank manager for BB & T. Mrs. Shouse is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Shouse; her father. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Randolph County Animal Shelter.
