Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Adean Pool Hadley age 87 of Newell will be held Monday at 11:00 AM from Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bobby Burroughs officiating. Burial will follow in the Wedowee City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hadley passed away Saturday January 19, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Hadley is survived by one daughter Elaine (Jimmy) McCain of Newell; one son Max (Vivian) Hadley of Newell; one sister Adell Stewart of Hazelgreen; five grandchildren Shasta Crowson, Lea Huddleston, Deana Morrow, Anna Hadley and Casey Hadley. One great-grandchild Jake Crowson. Special caregivers Judy Mitchell, Dorothy Dewberry, Debra Spratlin and Beverly McCain.
Pallbearers will be Richard Craft, Billy Edwards, Kendall Pool, Tim Pool, Dennis Pool and Wendell White.
Mrs. Hadley was born September 22, 1925 the daughter of Otis and Verdia Holloway Pool. She was a retired self-employed cosmetologist and a member of Union Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Herbert Lee Hadley three brothers Braxton , Brosco and W.F. Pool.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Sunday January 20, 2013 from 6 till 8 PM.
