Obituary of Robert Edward Moss

Obituary Notice Memorial services for Robert Edward Moss, age 89, of Huntsville, will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 26, 2013, from First Methodist Church Wedowee with Rev. Russell Hessley and Rev. Robert Mount officiating. Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Moss died Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Floyd E. Tut Fann VA Home. Mr. Moss is survived by one son, Robert Rodney Moss and wife Marcia of Huntsville; two step-daughters, Mary Sikes and husband Joe of Wedowee, Elizabeth Creed of Wedowee; four grand-daughters, Claire and Caroline Sikes, Olivia and Bella Creed; two grandsons, Ben & wife Cara, and Dan Moss, one son-in-law, Ron Simmons of Huntsville; one brother-in-law, Cecil Wooten of Birmingham; host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Moss was born May 21, 1923, the son of Percy Raymond and Helen McIntosh Moss. He was a member of the First Methodist Church Wedowee, had been a land appraiser and worked for Alabama Power Company. Mr. Moss is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca T.
