Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Marie Cummings Bailey age 83 of Wedowee will be held Saturday February 9, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Corky Addison and Rev. Bobby Burroughs officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Bailey passed away Thursday February 7, 2013 at Lineville Health and Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her husband Calvin C. Bailey of Wedowee; two daughters Rita (Larry) Bradley and Debra (Dennis) Deason both of Wedowee; two sons John Robert (Dale) Bailey and Dennis (Terri) Bailey both of Wedowee; twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Mrs. Bailey was born November 7, 1929 the daughter of John W. and Roxie Mitchell Cummings. She was a retired seamstress at Higgins Manufacturing Co. and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Donald Carl Bailey, two brothers and three sisters.
The family will receive friends at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church from 12 till 2 PM on Saturday February 9, 2013.
