Funeral services for Geraldine Walker, age 78, of Ranburne, will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 2, 2013, from Ranburne Methodist Church with Rev. Jeremy Harris and Dr. Kevin Thomas officiating. Burial to follow in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 1, 2013 at the church and until the service on Saturday.
Mrs. Walker died Thursday, February 28, 2012 at Tanner Health Systems.
Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband, L. C. Walker of Ranburne; one daughter, Dalenia Jones and husband Robert of Carrollton; two sons, Craig Walker and wife Melinda of Ranburne, Leland Walker of Hoover; four grandchildren; two sisters, Lorene Welch of Oxford, Delane McElroy and husband Jerry of Heflin; one brother, Johnny Wise and wife Julia of Heflin.
